*'AZAAN'  A  MIRACLE*

'Azaan' a Miracle ?... Yes ! by Sis. Yasmin

Amazing as it sounds, but fortunately, for the Muslims
of the world, it is an established fact...{!}

Please look at a map of the world and read
the facts below:

You will find Indonesia on the eastern side of the earth. The major cities of Indonesia are Java, Sumatra, Borneo and Saibil.
As soon as dawn breaks on the eastern side
of Saibil, at approximately 5:30 a.m local time, Fajar Azaan begins.
Thousands of Muazzins in Indonesia begin reciting the Azaan. The process advances towards West Indonesia . One and a half hours after the 'Azaan' has been completed in Saibil, it echoes in Jakarta ... Sumatra then follows suit and before this auspicious process of calling Azaan ends in Indonesia,
it has already begun in Malaysia ... {!}
Burma is next in line, and within an hour of its beginning in Jakarta, it reaches Dacca,
the capital city of Bangladesh .
After Bangladesh , it has already prevailed in western India , from Calcutta to Srinagar .
It then advances towards Bombay and the environment of entire India resounds with this proclamation.
 Srinagar and Sialkot (a northern city in Pakistan ) have the same timing for Azaan. The time difference between Sialkot , Quetta , and Karachi is forty minutes, and within this time, Fajar Aazaan is heard throughout Pakistan ... {!}
Before it ends there, it has already begun in Afghanistan and Muscat ...{!}
The time difference between Muscat and Baghdad is one hour. Azaan resounds during this one hour in the environments of Hijaaz-e-Muqaddas !
(Holy cities of Makkah and Madinah), Yemen , United Arab Emirates , Kuwait and Iraq
The time difference between Baghdad and Alexandria in Egypt is again one hour.
Azaan continues to resound in Syria, Egypt, Somalia and Sudan during this hour.
The time difference between eastern and western Turkey is one and a half hours, and during this Alexandria and Tripoli
(capital of Libya ) are located at one hour's difference.
 The process of calling 'Azaan' thus continues throughout the whole of Africa ...{!}
 Therefore, the proclamation of the "Tawheed" and "Risaalat" that had begun in Indonesia reaches the Eastern Shore of the Atlantic Ocean after nine and half hours {!}
Prior to the 'Azaan' reaching the shores of the Atlantic, the process of "Zohar Azaan" has already started in east Indonesia , and before it reaches Dacca , "Asr Azaan" has started.
 This has hardly reached Jakarta one and half hours later, the time of "Maghrib" Salat becomes due, and no sooner has "Maghrib" time reached Sumatra , the time for calling "Isha Azaan" has commenced in Saibil...{!}
When the Muazzins of Indonesia are calling out "Fajar Azaan", the African Muazzins are calling the 'Azaan' for Isha Salat.
If we were to ponder over this phenomenon thoughtfully, we would conclude
the amazing fact that there is not even a single moment when hundreds of thousands of Muazzins around the world are not reciting the 'Azaan' on the surface of this earth.
Even as you read this material right now,
you can be sure there is 'Azaan' somewhere !!!
 {Subhaan Allah !}

Islam & Martial Arts: China’s Hui Muslim Tradition
By Eissa Dar

Bahath, 2 December 2016

Western media has always been saturated with images of Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Li, but what we don't hear about as often is the relation between Islam and martial arts. The early trade that led to a great relationship between Arab Muslims and the Chinese acted as a pivotal role in the spread of Islam in the Far East as well as cementing the Muslim-Chinese identity. Dating back to the 1200s, the roles early Chinese Muslims played in military leadership positions forms the beginning of this most unique connection.

Islam in China is well documented with the Hui people acting as the largest Muslim minority within the country. From approximately 19 years after the death of Prophet Muhammad  a relationship between China and Arabia was already in place. It was the third Khalifah (Caliph) ‘Uthman who initiated the first conscious efforts to spread Islam in the region, with subsequent trade missions also contributing to the spread of Islam.

The Hui Muslims came from this lineage, a unification of Arabia and China to form this unique position of authentic Chinese culture, infused with the Islamic tradition, the likes of which can still be seen to this day in various parts of the country, though mostly concentrated in the north-western parts of China. The practise of martial arts still takes place in various Masajid (mosques) around the country, with Islamic sciences being taught at the same time.

Not only did martial arts combine with practical aspects of defence for long seafaring trade missions, but it also was a spiritual tool of many Muslim masters. The need for self-control and restraint reflect in both martial arts and traditional Islamic teachings.

The concept of Islamic self-control was used by martial art masters in the physical realm as well. With practitioners putting emphasis on both spiritual and physical aspects of training. The need for calm and collected decision making is a tradition upheld by Muslims, as seen in the tradition of The Prophet (pbuh) , "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger." The essence of Ijtihad (diligence) in maintaining self-discipline is integral in both paths.

Various art forms such as Silat and Wushu have been perfected by Muslims of the last few hundred years, with many original martial arts being either created or adapted by Muslims as well, such as Zhaquan and Piguquan. These original developments were tools that were created often by army officials or to safeguard Muslims in China, being passed down in secret through generations.

In the history of this marriage between martial arts and Islam, there are many names to consider. We can see examples of masters such as Wang Zi Ping (1881 - 1973) and Chang Tung Sheng (1908 - 1986) who trained in their discipline while retaining their faith and using it as a means to come closer to Allah and the teachings of their religion.

Master Wang Zi Ping, acknowledged as a master of Wushu was also a learned man in relation to the Religion. He was known to lift heavy stones while reciting the Qur’an. A notable story tells of his opposition to German forces who attempted to obtain the doors of Qinzhou masjid that was inscribed with the history of the Muslims in China. Master Wang was not one to let a priceless part of Muslim identity be taken away, and so challenged the soldiers to a weight lifting competition and subsequently won.

Also, a master of various other disciplines, Wang Zi Ping was an inspiration to people, Muslim and non-Muslim alike. His mastery of a variety of martial arts allowed him to gain victory over various foreign opponents, leading to a great following of students, thus also spreading the reach of Islam amongst Chinese people.

In reality, martial arts and the Islamic tradition share a unique bond and history that within them both contain means to achieve a greater purpose. Acting as reflections of each other, the history of Islam in China led to the expansion of the Religion to the far eastern corners of the world, and the practical nature of martial arts helped defend this tradition in a way that kept the uniqueness of Chinese culture, with the absoluteness of the religion of Islam.

Amjid Ali is Wing Chun instructor and also a practising Muslim. In the video below he relates his journey of learning, from travelling to Hong Kong and training with legendary martial artist Ip Man and close friends of the late Bruce Lee. He provides an interesting insight into the similarities between Islamic and martial art teachings.

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Solution to the Present Problems of the Muslim World
By Irshad Mahmood - Director, Siraat-al-Mustaqeem Dawah Centre

People and Nation Needs to change not the Leader:
This is because Allah has never changed a favor which He has conferred upon a people until they change their own condition; and because Allah is Hearing, Knowing; (Ref: Al_Quraan_008.053).
(Allah will change the nation if their people first change themselves NOT their Leader)
If People and Nation change, not the Leader THEN:
And if the people of the township had believed and kept from evil, surely We should have opened for them, blessings from the sky and from the earth. But (unto every messenger) they gave the lie, and so We seized them on account of what they used to earn, (Ref: Al_Quraan_007.096).
(Allah’s Blessing may have come if nation or people have accepted Islaam and NOT their Leader)
Quraan is the ONLY Book of Guidance which can Help us to Answer Back all Kinds of False Ideas:
This Book, there is NO Doubt in it, is a Guidance to those who fear Allah, (Ref: Al_Quraan_002.002).
He it is who sends clear revelations to His slave, that He may bring you out of darkness into light; for Allah is surely gracious and kind to you, (Ref: Al_Quraan_057.009).
A Book revealed to you-- so let there be no constraint in your breast on account of it, that you may warn thereby, and a reminder close to the believers, (Al_Quraan_007.002).
We know best what they say, and you are not one to compel them; therefore REMIND him by means of the Quraan who fears My threat, (Al_Quraan_050.045).
Invite (all) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and have disputations with them in the best manner; surely your Lord best knows those who go astray from His path, and He knows best those who follow the right way, (Ref: Al_Quraan_016.125).
Baaith / Oath / Promises: Fulfill your Promises with Allah and Enter into Islaam Completely:
And when We made a covenant with you and raised the mountain over you: Take hold of what We have given you with firmness and be obedient. They said: We hear and disobey. And they were made to imbibe (the love of) the calf into their hearts on account of their unbelief Say: Evil is that which your belief bids you if you are believers, (Ref: Al_Quraan_002.093).
O Prophet! when believing women come to you giving you a pledge that they will not associate aught with Allah, and will not steal, and will not commit fornication, and will not kill their children, and will not bring a calumny which they have forged of themselves, and will not disobey you in what is good, accept their pledge, and ask forgiveness for them from Allah; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful, (Ref: Al_Quraan_060.012).
Enter into Islam whole-heartedly, and follow not the footsteps of the evil one, (Ref: Al_Quraan_002.208).
Why Nations Destroy/Falls?
Allah Never Destroys any Good Nations:
But why were there not among the generations before you those possessing understanding, who should have forbidden the making of mischief in the earth, except a few of those whom We delivered from among them? And those who were unjust went after what they are made to enjoy of plenty, and they were guilty. Your Lord never annihilates any community unjustly, while its people are righteous, (Ref: Al_Quraan_011.116-117).
Allah Never Changes the Conditions of a Nation till their People (NOT their Leader) Changes themselves:
In the manner of the people of Pharaoh and those before them; they disbelieved in Allah's communications, therefore Allah destroyed them on account of their faults; surely Allah is strong, severe in requiting (evil). This is because Allah has never changed a favor which He has conferred upon a people until they change their own condition; and because Allah is Hearing, Knowing, (Ref: Al_Quraan_008.052-053).
Corruption in the Land is because of Peoples Deeds:
Corruption has appeared in the land and the sea on account of what the hands of men have wrought (done), that He may make them taste a part of that which they have done, so that they may return, (Ref: Al_Quraan_030.041).
Disasters Continued:
Even if a Quraan caused mountains to move, or the earth to tear asunder, or the dead to speak (they will not believe). Allah controls all things. Is it not time for the believers to give up and realize that if Allah willed, He could have guided all the people? The disbelievers will continue to suffer disasters, as a consequence of their own works, or have disasters strike close to them, until Allah's promise is fulfilled. Allah will never change the predetermined destiny, (Ref: Al_Quraan_013.031).
Miserable Life of Disbelievers:
And whoever turns away from My reminder (message), he will have a miserable life, and We will raise him on the Day of Resurrection, blind, (Ref: Al_Quraan_020.124).
Disbelievers are Losing their Lands:
Nay, We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; Do they not then see that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win, (Al_Quraan_021.044)?

Destruction of Disbeliever's Land:
And when We wish to destroy a town, We send Our commandment to the people of it who lead easy lives, but they transgress therein; thus the word proves true against it, so We destroy it with utter destruction. And how many of the generations did We destroy after Nuh! and your Lord is sufficient as Knowing and Seeing with regard to His servants' faults, (Al_Quraan_017.016-017).
Why Muslims and Muslims countries are getting more affected, while Allah promised to protect the believers? We need to find out immediately, what were the sins of those Muslims who were affected by such disasters, so that we can avoid those sins?
And if the people of the towns had believed and guarded (against evil) we would certainly have opened up for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they rejected, so we overtook them for what they had earned, (Ref: Al_Quraan_007.096).
Indonesia got affected by Tsunami triggered by an undersea Earthquake on 26-DEC-2004. Bangladesh got affected by massive flood and over 2/3 of Bangladesh gone under water. History of Earthquake in Iran and Turkey is not too old as well. It looks like we are Muslims by name only. We have the Quraan and we believe on the Quraan that it is from Allah and free from any kind of error or contradiction BUT when the time comes to practice it, we try to deviate from it and start looking shortcuts. Enter into Islaam Completely and immediately without any delay.
Disasters are not without any reason:
Mischief (Disaster or Corruption) has appeared on land and sea because of (the evil) that the hands of men have earned, that (Allah) may give them a taste of some of their deeds: in order that they may turn back (from Evil), (Ref: Al_Quraan_030:041).
And even if there were a Quran with which the mountains were made to pass away, or the earth were travelled over with it, or the dead were made to speak thereby; nay! the commandment is wholly Allah's, Have not yet those who believe known that if Allah please He would certainly guide all the people? And (as for) those who disbelieve, there will not cease to afflict them because of what they do a repelling calamity, or it will alight close by their abodes, until the promise of Allah comes about; surely Allah will not fail in (His) promise, (Ref: Al_Quraan_013.031).
In the above two Ayaat Disaster points to both the Natural Disasters as well as Man Mad, including a Cruel Ruler.
Do we think that Allah will change our conditions, since we just recite Kalima and obey only of his few commands. It is our mistake. Allah never changes the condition of people unless they change themselves. Our Ummah has to change immediately, so don't delay, time is running out. Do you think that Cruel Ruler is not a Disaster, Think again.
Remember: After Listening or watching or reading etc. of Quraan and Authentic Hadeeth, it is your responsibility to think and decide as well as change accordingly and immediately. Yes, Rasool Allah already warned that there will be around 73 sects of Muslims BUT only one will go to the Heaven, doesn't mean that in any sects I am fine. I must need to find out the right one and change accordingly and immediately, only then there is a real hope to enter to the heaven.Tomorrow may never come so don't delay and Enter into Islaam immediately. Also telling others as well is your responsibility.
Possible Reason Why Muslim Ummah is suffering Badly:
Yet you it is who slay your people and turn a party from among you out of their homes, backing each other up against them unlawfully and exceeding the limits; and if they should come to you, as captives you would ransom them-- while their very turning out was unlawful for you. Do you then believe in a part of the Book and disbelieve in the other? What then is the re ward of such among you as do this but disgrace in the life of this world, and on the day of resurrection they shall be sent back to the most grievous chastisement, and Allah is not at all heedless of what you do. These are they who buy the life of this world for the hereafter, so their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped, (Al_Quraan_002.085-086).
(Here Believing means Practicing. Islaam is a Practical Religion and NOT a Verbal Religion. Today vast majority of Muslim Ummah are not Practicing Islaam completely, so it means, they are believing in some parts of the Quraan, while disbelieving in the others.)
Allah has promised for the great bounty, BUT why Muslim Ummah are suffering:
And if the people of the towns had believed and guarded (against evil) we would certainly have opened up for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they rejected, so we overtook them for what they had earned, (Ref: Al_Quraan_007.096).
Do not hold the Messenger's calling (you) among you to be like your calling one to the other; Allah indeed knows those who steal away from among you, concealing themselves; therefore let those beware who go against his order lest a trial afflict them or there befall them a painful chastisement, (Ref: Al_Quraan_024.063).
Behold! You are those who are called upon to spend in Allah's way, but among you are those who are niggardly, and whoever is niggardly is niggardly against his own soul; and Allah is Self-sufficient and you have need (of Him), and if you turn back He will bring in your place another people, then they will not be like you, (Ref: Al_Quraan_047.038).
Shall I then seek a judge other than Allah? And He it is Who has revealed to you the Book (which is) made plain; and those whom We have given the Book know that it is revealed by your Lord with truth, therefore you should not be of the disputers, (Ref: Al_Quraan_006.114).
Those who don’t do Justice according to the Laws of Allah they are unbelievers:
Surely We revealed the Taurat in which was guidance and light; with it the prophets who submitted themselves (to Allah) judged (matters) for those who were Jews, and the masters of Divine knowledge and the doctors, because they were required to guard (part) of the Book of Allah, and they were witnesses thereof; therefore fear not the people and fear Me, and do not take a small price for My communications; and whoever did not judge by what Allah revealed, those are they that are the unbelievers, (Ref: Al_Quraan_005.044).
What about those Muslim Rulers, who don’t establish Deen-e-Ibrahim, how come they are Muslims? What about those who appoint them by giving vote in a democratic system, although there are others asking your support, so that they may be able to establish Deen-e-Ibrahim? What about those who don’t go for vote where there is a democratic system, to elect someone who is promising to establish Deen-e-Ibrahim? As an example, suppose 3% of the population want to establish Deen-e-Ibarhim, but didn’t vote, 49% vote to the Non-Islaamic party while 48% vote to the Islaamic Party. Then Non-Islaamic Party will be in power only because of 3% of the people who didn’t vote. Why there are so many divided Islaamic Parties?  Suppose that the majority of the people don’t want Deen-e-Ibrahim System then, would you like to force the people or do Dawah and leave the rest on Allah? A Muslim can never vote to a Non-Islaamic party, while there are True Islaamic Parties available. These things are extremely important and need TRUE Justice otherwise the corrupt Rulers will be appointed and will destroy the Nation. You must help those who are sincerely & peacefully trying to establish Deen-e-Ibrahim.
Those who vote for NON-Islaamic Party May be actually Disbelievers:
O you who believe! whoever from among you turns back from his religion, then Allah will bring a people, He shall love them and they shall love Him, lowly before the believers, mighty against the unbelievers, they shall strive hard in Allah's way and shall not fear the censure of any censurer; this is Allah's Face, He gives it to whom He pleases, and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing, (Ref: Al_Quraan_005.054).
Remember: There is no Compulsion in the Religion … (Ref: Al_Quraan_002.256).
Those who Divide the Religion are NO Longer Muslims:
As for those who Divide their Religion and break up into Sects, thou hast NO part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah. He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did, (Ref: Al_Quraan_006:159).
Allah wants us to be United Perfectly:
If you DIFFER in anything (Faith, Salaat, Sayaam, Zakaat, etc.) amongst yourself, then REFER to Allah and his Messenger, if you really believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for determinations, (Ref: Al_Quraan_004.059).
Weather you believe or not, our Foundation (Worshipping Method) is widely divided into several sects. Not only every group, believing on, that they are right, BUT every person practically believe that he is right, and perfect, so he is acting accordingly.
Check your Faith, Kalimah, Salaat, Sayaam, Zakaat, Hajj, etc (Every Act including Worship). Think again, why you are different from other Muslims. First see yourself, may be you are not Correct.
Only No Innovations, No Additions or Subtractions in our Faith, Kalimah, Salaat, Sayaam, Zakaat, Hajj, etc. will bring us to Perfect Unity.
Allah Protects ONLY Those who keep doing Dawah and those who help them in doing Dawah:
At many places Allah mentioned that HE protects ONLY those who keeps doing Dawah and those who helps them as well (Ref: specially read Al_Quraan chapter_007). So don't fear Shaitaan and Fear Allah only and keep doing Dawah from the depth of your heart.
When some of them said: "Why do you preach to a people whom Allah will destroy or visit with a terrible punishment?"- said the preachers:" To discharge our duty to your Lord, and perchance they may fear Him", (Ref: Al_Quraan_007:164).
When they neglected the warnings that had been given them, We rescued (ONLY) those who forbade Evil; but We overtook the wrong-doers with a grievous punishment because they were given to transgression, (Ref: Al_Quraan_007:165).
Here points to be noted, what happened to those who were not doing Dawah nor helping those who were doing Dawah, instead they were asking those who were doing Dawah that "Why do you preach to a people whom Allah will destroy or visit with a terrible punishment?". They were not saved while those who were doing Dawah were saved only.
Change yourself NOW Before it gets Too LATE: New Muslims are Much Better than Non-Practiced Muslims:
Verily Allah will never change the condition of a people until they (first) change it themselves, (Ref: Al_Quraan_013.011).
And if you turn away, Allah will exchange you for some another people (possibly New Muslims), and they will not be like you, (Ref: Al_Quraan_047.038).
There is NO Place of Sects in Islaam:
As for those who Divide their Religion and break up into Sects, thou hast NO part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah. He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did, (Ref: Al_Quraan_006:159).
And obey Allah and His Messenger and  do not dispute among yourselves, for then you will be weak in hearts and your power will depart, and be patient; surely Allah is with the patient, (Ref: Al_Quraan_008.046).
If anyone desires a religion OTHER than Islaam (Submission to Allah), NEVER will it be accepted of him: and in the Hereafter he will be in the rank of those who have LOST (their selves in the hell of fire), (Ref: Al_Quraan_003.085).
Enter into Islaam Completely (Perfectly, 100%), (Ref: Al_Quraan_002.208).

Islaam will eventually come to all over the World:
Their intention is to extinguish the Allah’s light (by blowing) with their mouths, but Allah will complete His light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it), (Ref: Al_Quraan_061.008).
Non-Practicing Muslims are like ASS / Donkey carrying books, (Ref: Al_Quraan_062.005).
None argue concerning the revelations (Ayaat) of Allah but those who disbelieve …, (Ref: Al_Quraan_040.004).
Allah is One  <---> Quraan is One <---> Siraat_ul_Mustaqeem is One
One Ummah <---> One Islaam     <---> One Voice <---> One Worshipping Method

13 Signs that you’re Wasting Your Precious Time
Life is said to be too short, but most of us don’t feel it until we start nearing the end - only then do we really think about and regret our choices. Think about the following two questions: What was always your biggest dream, and did you realize that dream during your life?
If your answer to the second question is no, then we recommend that you review the following 13 signs and see if you are wasting your precious time. Once you learn to recognize the routines and customs that cause this, you can avoid them and start to fulfill your dreams actively and consciously.
1. You spend too much time doing things you don’t need to do
Whether you sit every night and watch television for hours on end or spend your time in front of your computer skimming through a social network, you should start taking your life more seriously. Think about the way you choose to spend most of your free time and ask yourself if it somehow helps your life move forward and helps you become better - do your actions help you create a foundation for the future you want to live? If not, you probably need to re-evaluate your routine and make changes.
2. You complain too much
Some people, without even knowing it, hate their lives, and they don’t stop sharing this fact with others. Do you think you’re like that? Do you complain about your boss, your salary, or your noisy neighbors? If so, you probably don’t do anything but project negative energy into your environment, and negativity doesn’t help anything, it just makes you stuck. Change the way you think, and talk to your friends about the things you love in life, not about the things that are bothering you.
3. You don’t feed your brain
We don’t stop growing after puberty, and if you don’t continue to learn new things and improve your knowledge in old age, you will degenerate and stay stagnant, just like a still lake which becomes scummy - that's what happens to your brain if you don’t keep it active and teach it new things. Thought to provoke challenges to help you expand your knowledge and improve your thinking, so don’t avoid them even if learning something new seems like a difficult task - you have to be a little bad at first to get better.
4. You aren’t inspired
Do you have a desire for something? There are many people who go to work every morning, go home, watch television and go to bed, and believe they have no passion for anything, but that's never the case. Each of us has something we enjoy doing which adds to our life, and you have to rediscover what excites you and put more of it into your life.
5. You have too many negative conversations with yourself
Sometimes our thoughts can ruin our day. Henry Ford said, "Whether you think you can or you think you can’t - you're right," which means that if you tell yourself that you are too exhausted to make a difference in your life, you're right because that's what you decided.
However, if you tell yourself you're smart and talented enough to get promoted or start your own business, you're also right. Whatever you tell yourself will become your reality, so be aware of your thoughts and adapt them to the life you want to live.
6. You’re not planning for the future
While it is recommended for each of us to live in the moment, sometimes we have to look into the future and make sure we are on the path we need to be on. If you don’t have a goal or a plan of some sort, you’re like a sailor on a boat sailing the sea without a sail expecting to get to a good place, but chances are that that won’t happen.
You have to create a plan of action which will help you reach your safe haven - just like choosing a destination on a GPS. Once you have a goal in mind, you’ll know which opportunities will take you to it.
7. You spend too much time with people who don’t contribute to your well-being
It is very easy to get stuck with negative people who don’t help us feel that we are better people than we think we are. Sometimes, we even call these people friends, but it's important that you know that these people are pulling you down with them.
People like this are sometimes called "energy vampires" because they draw the spirit of life from others and do not give anything positive in return. Instead of spending too much time with such people, identify the friends and acquaintances who make you feel proud and happy, and surround yourself with them.
8. You are addicted to your smartphone
The smartphone is one of the most useful gadgets added to our lives in recent years,  but you should be aware of the time you spend on it. Think about how the use of a smartphone affects your relationship in your home environment or while you're with friends; are you locked onto the screen at dinner with your family, or are you communicating with acquaintances while you sit for a cup of coffee with a friend? If so, you are missing out on the meaningful entertainment and intimate relationship with the people you love.
9. You spend money on things that don’t matter
timeThere is a big difference between "want" and "need," and certainly your parents tried to teach it to you at a young age. However, the line between these two has become very blurred in today's society, and some people fail to pay their mortgage but still manage to spend their money on non-essential products.
If you stop for a moment and think about it, you’ll find that there are very few things you really need in life; water, food, a home, and love are part of that list. All other things are extra, so think about your expenses and make changes accordingly.
10. You don’t get enough sleep
You don’t have to be a doctor to know how important sleep is to our health. If you're awake until the early hours doing chores, you’re probably wasting your free time during the day on things that are not necessary. This is a bad habit that should be stopped because poor sleep can cause fatigue that will rob you of the desire to do the things you need to do to sustain your life.
11. You don’t take care of your body
Beyond the fact that adequate sleep is important for health, it is also necessary to keep the body active and maintain its health, just as you would your car. Your body is the vehicle that drives your soul, and you must help it stay healthy by eating a balanced, healthy diet and exercising, not just for weight loss, but to maintain its strength.
It will affect you mentally and change your attitude toward life. Start with small changes, and if you see that you persist in them consider increasing your efforts - the more you do to keep your health, the better your life will look.
12. You don’t step out of your comfort zone
It’s easy to stay in a comfortable place, but if we don’t take calculated risks in life, it’ll never be able to improve enough to satisfy us. Note that there is a difference between "risk" and "calculated risk", since just any risk can lead to a negative outcome, but a calculated risk is one in which our chances of achieving a positive outcome are higher. Just think of a plan of action and go with it wholeheartedly.
13. You don’t love your life
Success and happiness come hand in hand, because the way to test how successful a person is, is to measure his level of happiness. Do you feel happy? If not, you may need to make a significant difference in your life. Even feelings of satisfaction or contentment aren’t indicative of a life lived to the fullest - life needs to excite you! If you don’t enjoy your life, you have to make some changes that will lead you to a better place.
A few words to sum up
If these 13 signs sound familiar to you, don’t be discouraged. You can change your life, but first, you have to get rid of the little voice in your head telling you it's impossible. Most of the times our biggest obstacle is the pattern of thoughts in our heads, so start by making a linguistic change. Change your way of thinking and speaking and gradually the way you perceive and experience life will change as well.
